2nd Edition - Programme overview
Business Issues addressed
Now in a further year of global recession organisations are striving to manage in an era of deleveraging. UK plc is now acclimatising to the challenges of post-election austerity, facing operational cuts in public spending while Europe copes with an ailing Euro currency. Executives need to be aware of processes and methodologies in corporate restructuring and turnarounds. Managers and professionals at all levels urgently need to understand available options and generate solutions beyond the standard Insolvency ones!
2nd Edition
The programme is in its 2nd year which means that we can improve using the feedback received. However, in business you can never stand still so we present our updated 2nd Edition. The 2nd edition is still a one day programme, with covers much of the original programme but is fine tuned for rapid knowledge transfer.
So what’s new?
1. We have two news desk slots that cover the unfolding UK plc turnaround & Pre-packs – be it Admin or Liquidation.
2. More focus on insolvency knowledge & therefore options for the Turnaround Practitioners et al.
3. More focus on assessing where the value break is.
4. A dedicated UK case study and interactive negotiation session.
It sounds a lot and the day is very intensive, the day presents a heads-up on the knowledge required at the practitioner level to assist challenged businesses and their stakeholders. This will increase your return on investment.
The programme is structured in defined and complementary sessions and assumes delegates are not "Empty vessels” providing a framework of learning that draws on the group experience. Lecture style presentations are complemented by cases, pre-work, peer group learning, open discussions and practical exercises to accelerate learning. The pace is brisk. Delegates receive complete documentation of all materials used, including cases, and pre-work plus additional articles, contained in a useful CD.
